I have consulted ent doctor for cough which comes after cold. It's been more than 1 month. I have taken antibiotics for 8 days and antihistamine for 15 days. Also cough syrup which contains cpm and codein for 10 days and another cough syrup which contains phenylephrine and dextromethorphan and cpm for 3 days. Along with this syrup ent doctor gave me antibiotics and predmet 8 mg tablet { methylprednisolone} for 5 days along with antihistamine. Still my dry cough won't going away. I have taken allergy test also which comes normal in report and chest xray also normal. There is no any other symptoms other than cough. Sometimes throat irritation comes. What can I do now? I am fed up with this cough.
