My friend is trying for pregnancy from last 4 months. She always had 30 days cycle bt since she is trying she have 28 to 30 days cycle. Her cycle is regular but always have minimum 7 days periods sometimes followed by more 1-2 days spotting. Her gynic prescribed her folicure-5 (since she started planning) and now fatigrace- f daily and duphaston 10 mg from day 16th to 25th for 10 days in month for 3 months. Kindly suggest for wat duphaston is prescribed. Does it help in getting pregnant? Is it safe when she is planning? Confused from so much information mentioned in discussions and given by various people.

There is no confusion. Duphaston is safe and it's given to make the pregnancy strong if she concieves. That's the bottomline and do not get confused with anything else. More of subject and medical terminology might not be understandable easily. Continue folic acid as well.
