I am a lady aged 34 and have been trying to have a baby since march this year but with no luck yet. I have just remembered that I have not had the vaginal mucus like discharge in a very long time, could this be the problem?

Pregnancy can occur only one day of the cycle that is ovulation day so unprotected sex around that day only important. As only one day in month nature should be given 12-24 trials (12 to 24 months) before couple need any active management by gynecologist or infertility specialist- in your case early because of age.
