Suffering from achalasia cardia type. I Undergone poem surgery still the underlining problem of food being stuck in esophagus has no cure. Please, suggest what to do?

Since this is a newer procedure, skills and results are variable. If you have not been relieved by the poems procedure, I would recommend you repeat a manometry and check the pressure at the ge junction. If the pressure is still high and doesn't reduce on swallowing, you will need a formal surgery, known as a cardiomyotomy, with possible extended myotomy of the esophagus. This can be done by keyhole surgery. However, you need a thorough evaluation before surgical intervention.
