I am 72 year old male. Height 5 ft 3 inches. Weight 55 kgs. My fasting sugar is 114, ppl is 219. Hba1c is 6.71.i am taking gluconorm g2 and starvog 0.2 one tablet each three times a day. Are the doses o.k.

Doses are ok. your hba1c also quite normal. If you want then you start ayurvedic medicine on it.

Your pp blood sugar is quite high. You should definitely review your treatment to a diabetologist near you. Treatment regime to be changed.

Mr Shivashankar, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details, overall glucose levels & HbA1c% are fine. However, ideally in well controlled diabetic person fasting glucose should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 170 mg. SInce your age is 72 years the control is quite good. There is no need to worry. Please continue the same lifestyle and treatment. Thanks.
