Hi. I am 8 weeks 7 days pregnant, I wanted to travel to my mom's place travelling is abt 17 hrs via train so planning to travel in ac coach. And right now i'm in weekly proluton injection n mng n night susten tablet. Earlier I had 2 miscarriages. So please suggest can I travel taking all the necessary precaution of keeping my body cool.

Hi, it’s better to postpone the travel till 3 months as you had two abortions earlier. It’s better to avoid long journeys at present.

Since you are travelling for long and in train. It's safe. Keep yourself hydrated well with water juice or soups taken from home. Nothing else is required. Inform your gynaecologist and if she prescribes extra progestrone support. You can take them.

As such travelling does not increase the risk of miscarriage. But in case you need any emergency medical service, that may not be available there. So, if possible, avoid travel.
