Dear Mr. lybrate-user, tramadol addiction is type of opioid addiction. The deaddiction process is same as treating any other opioid addictions like heroin, morphine etc. 500 mg is a pretty high dose, hence, it requires hospitalisation for proper management. If you try to stop or reduce it on your own, you will have withdrawal symptoms that is difficult to bear. Please contact any nearby psychiatrist and follow his/her advise. Thanks.

Dear Sandeep, it is sad that you are dependent on tramadol at this young age. Please reduce and stop it. You have to take help to keep your motivational level high to fight with withdrawal. Help has to be from friends, relatives, doctors, deaddiction and rehab centers, etc. It is a continuous slow process of withdrawal over probably next 12 weeks. All the best and start the process. Use all the help possible.
