Im a 25 year old male, no medical history, 8 year tobacco/marijuana smoker, no cigarettes, semi active not really. Ive been having right inner shoulder blade discomfort for 2-3 months. Its felt in my right thoracic outlet region. The pain is very dull and achy feeling like a deep pulled muscle in my back near my rhomboid muscle. Its more of a discomfort than a pain because I really do not feel it at rest, I can still sleep without pain meds and the pain is not severe. The pain is more noticeable when I tilt my head up and down and when I shrug my shoulders up and back. I get a subtle faint feeling in my actual shoulder that is off and on and sometimes my right upper chest under collarbone. Sometimes I wake up with a stiff neck on the base of my neck on the right side. It does not really radiate down my arm but I might feel something. All my symptoms are not really consistent but the back inner shoulder blade pain is always there if I move or shrug my shoulders a certain way. None of my natural movements are restricted. Can this be the beginning stages of pancoast tumor/syndrome? The rule outs of pancoast are as follows: no horners syndrome no loss of muscle or wasting muscle in right arm no blood coughing or plain no severe sharp pains no visible lumps please, asking any reassurance for my mental health.
