I am 15 years old and my period was due on 1st february but it got delayed. I have an important religious occasion and wanted to delay my period. I took one primolut n (5g) tablet but was later told by a doctor not to do so as it is unlikely the medicine with work, and so I discontinued it's use. Will this tablet have any adverse effect on my health now that I have taken it? Is there any way I could delay my period safely?

This one tablet can not have adverse effect on health. There are many hormonal drugs for same, but any drug can be prescribed by the only doctor who has examined you or can examine you so go to such medical practitioner.
