I was diagnosed with anal fissure and sentinel tag after delivery, 8 months ago. Its cured now by taking isabgol, visab etc and applying anobliss, which used to recur after some days when I switched to plain isabgol. I was thinking to get laser surgery done but my doc told its not required and even after surgery if any hard stool occur, fissure will return and so I have to take stool softener life long. I?m taking visab since 45 days daily which has kept me away from fissure. My water intake is 4litres per days with salads, light food. Still I get hard stool after some days if I switch to isabgol. I?m applying anobliss twice since 4 months to avoid it. I want to ask is it safe to take stool softener daily? If yes, which one? What are the other ways to avoid hard stools? Till when do I need to apply anobliss? These are the complete details which I have provided.
