Meri wife ki 1st pregnancy ka 6 month shuru h unka hemoglobin (hb) test hua to report me hb as pattern aya and, abi blood test hua to haemoglobin 8.8 aya doctor bolre k unhe iron ki tablet nhi chala sakte sirf folic acid ki medicine desakte aur sugar b badha h .to kya koi medicine ya injection nhi ata h kya k blood increase karsake aur kya unhe jo hb as pattern aya h uska treatment h kya koi. please suggest.

Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query. Maine aap ne bheja huaa detail dekha. Aap ne hemoglobin ka pattern kya ayay hai ye nahi likha. Is it thalassemia? Agar ye pattern hai to iron nahi diya jyata. Aur agar blood glucose (sugar ki badha) hai to level (fasting & after food) kitana hai ye bhi nahi likha hai. Pregnancy me agar diabetes suru hua to control karane ke liye insulin injections lene ki jarurat hai. Glucose ko pure din me 90 mg to 120 mg ke beech me hirakhana padata hai. Nahi to fetus (pet me ke bacche ko) takalif hoti hai, aur delivery ke samy bahut hi taklif hone ki sambhavana rehati hai. So aap ko koi diabetes specialist ko milana chahiye.
