My mothers age is 46. Her hemoglobin level decreases 1g/dl per month due to bleeding. Earlier her hemoglobin level was 4.9. My doctor suggest me to give her 4 unit of blood. I give her 2 unit of blood. Now her hg level is 7.i want to know that how to prevent hg loss and how this level can be increased without blood transfusion.
