I am 21 years old. I have a lot of unwanted hair on my face (chin and upper lip area) and also on my thighs. I have irregular periods as well. I have irregular periods since very long. I went to a gynaecologist a year ago and she asked me to get thyroid and blood test. My thyroid levels were fine. But I had less iron and she suggested me to take rubired tabs. Now I stopped taking them. Would be great if you could help me with this issue.

Unwanted facial hairs and irregular periods may be due to pcod (poly cystic ovarian disease. Your gynaecologist will be able to confirm it. The cosmetic treatment for it is permanent hair reduction with laser. Requires at least 8-10 sessions. Consult a dermatologist in your area.
