Is there any treatment for pronunciation difficulty during conversation and always searching for words to say during conversation (even when i'm not anxious talking with my family or friends) which makes me looks like a dump during conversation? I do experience depression at some times and anxious every time. (these which I believe is the side effects of "phenytoin" I took for 7 years continuously for epilepsy, discontinued 10 years ago. I've been suffering from these symptoms since back then). Please do not prescribe ssri like the doctors given to me when I consulted. I do not want further side effects. Have digestion issues also. Foods like onion, tomato, milk and other dairy products especially with high sugar content, fried food items, fast foods, etc. Worsens my stomach and causes depression there after. Will cerebrolysin / cerebroprotein hydrolysate help me frame sentences during conversation? Also heal / regenerate neurons in brain which eventually helps me perform better? I'm sorry for suggesting this i'm not going to self medicate. I suffered a lot due to this. My career growth is stunned, I don't know what to do to cure this. The usual "meditation" thing is not working for me. I tried it for 3 months with no improvement. Feels like i'm losing hope.

Your issues can either be due to phenytoin or subclinical seizures now. It is advisable to undergo a neuropsychological assessment to see if there are any cognitive changes. You can try speech therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy for the same. Good luck.

Stammering is often due to underlying anxiety and lack of self confidence. Treatment with anti-anxiety medications often help. There are other anti-anxiety medications other than ssri. Cerebrolysin / cerebroprotein hydrolysate has no significant role in improving this. You can also take help of speech therapists.
