Hi all, what are the reason for blockage in fallopian tubes? I had an anembryonic pregnancy in 2018 and it got expelled from the body without any medicine or without any d &c procedure. I was on ovulation induction for 4 months but no pregnancy. I have pcos. And I am overweight. I have changed my doctor and she has put me on diane 35 for 2 months. And then she said she will do further process. Can I have tube blockage? I have no history of surgery or pid, etc. Kindly advise. Also I go to washroom immediately after after relationship with husband. Pls advise. Thanks.

The chance of tubal blockage is less likely as you had a pregnancy earlier, you may reduce weight and try ovulation induction after the course of diane. Do tubal patency tests if not able to conceive after a while like 3-6 months.

Tubal blockage can only be assesed by doing tubal patency tests. Such as hsg or laproscopy with tubal patency test. So if not done. Than tubal bock is not confirmed. In confirmed tubal blockage cases. Ovulation induction will not work. So first get yourself properly evaluated and than go for any further treatment. Best wishes.
