For bph problems, when alfoo is used and and when nu-bph employed and what are the differences? Does nu-bph really aid in reducing the size of an enlarged prostate as the company claims?

Alfoo or alfuzosin is alpha adrenergic receptor blocker, which helps in passage of urine by its action on bladder neck. It is prescribed in sexually active males with lower urinary tract symptoms owing to prostatic obstruction. Nu- bph is a phytotherapy for bph, prescribed off label as there are no conclusive studies to define their role in treatment of bph. One of the components may have 5ari like activity, which reduces size. But still not proven by trials/ clinical studies.
