One of my friend's is suffering from a severe pain occurring under the belly button in the lower abdomen. She has been experiencing this pain for four days. It stays for quite some time and after having metrogyl or any antacid, it disappears. She has been strictly eating home made food since lockdown and haven't fed on any outside food. Please help.

Pain in lower abdomen may not always be gi (gastrointestinal) related. It vould be due to uti also. Also the metrgyl is a n antibiotic and nit to be taken sos. It has to be taken as a course. Since you have already started the course complete it by taking the tablet two times a day after meals for 5 days. Take ppi before meal. Drink lots of fluid and cranberry juice to prevent uti.
