I have no lump in my scrotum or in the testis. After touching the right testis, i'm feeling slight pain in the back of the testis. My urologist prescribed me zerodol 100 mg, zanocin ds. Is it an epididymitis or orchitis. I mayn't think its a testicular cancer because i'm not seeing any type of abnormal growth in the testis. Only feeling slight pain at the back of testis which radiates to the upper groin region in the lower abdomen.

Hello- A testicular lump is a fairly common condition that can have many different causes. Testicular lumps can occur in men, teenage boys, or younger children. They may be located in one or both of the testicles. Testicular lumps can be a sign of problems with your testicles. They may be caused by an injury, but they can also indicate a serious underlying medical problem. Not all lumps indicate the presence of testicular cancer. Most lumps are caused by benign, or noncancerous, conditions. These usually require no treatment. Still, your doctor should examine any changes in your testicles, especially lumps or swelling.
