Can deriphyllin syrup be given for 3 years old kid continuously for 2 months for cough. Is it safe drug for kids? Will they cause any side effects?

All drugs do have side effects. If your child has cough accompanied with wheezing then a combination of bronchodilator plus expectorant plus a mucolytic cough syrup should help. Add an antiallergic syrup too. Take it till the symptoms completely disappear. Avoid consuming cold items.
