Sir, I am feeling a dry patch in my throat and also feels like something sticker in to it. I have no pain bit it is very irritating. I visited to a doctor 10 days ago. He prescribed me the following medicine 1 paracetamol 2 azithromycin 3 levocetirizine dihydrochloride 4 chlorphenamine maleate tablet 5 ascorbic acid tablet I have taken above medicines for 3 days. Sir, I am a smoker and smoke average two cigarettes per day. And I have hypo thyroid and I take 25 mg thyroxine daily. I am scared, is this the symptom of throat cancer? Please guide me.

The mentioned symptoms are not exactly the symptoms of cancer. But your symptoms can have a direct relation to your smoking habits. So stopping smoking will help you in a big way. Hypothyroidism can also contribute to your symptoms. Please stop smoking avoid spicy and oily food try some antacids.
