Mr Sandeep, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. Based on given information there is no way to suggest any change or addition or deletion of medication. To suggest any change I need to know following things : dietary pattern, extent of daily exercises plus lipid profile and serum creatinie and urea values. I am sure you are aware in a well controlled diabetic patient FBG should be < 100 mg or closer to 100 mg, PP should be 150 to 170 mg and HbA1c% < 6.8%. Considering your age.your current values are quite high. Most of the time there is no need to keep changing the drugs. What is needed is adapting a modified lifestyle. That is reduce caloric intake, cut down on simple carbs, add complex carbs in diet. Increase intake of pulses. Increase intake of green leafy vegetables, salads and fruits. Exercise regularly over 1 hour every day. Refrain from smoking and alcohol. Reduce deep fried foods and foods made from maida. Avoid all bakery items. Still if you are looking for online help please come with all the details in a private conversation(paid consultation) as in this communication we are supposed to give only general advice. No drugs can be prescribed. Thanks.
