I am a 21 year old male and I swallowed an ice cube that cut the back of my throat, it bled for about 5 - 7 minutes before the bleeding stopped. My brother who is a med student suggested gargling salt water and eating lightly. What should I avoid eating or putting in my throat and for how long should I be cautious.
