I am 29 years old and my weight is 93. I have found pcod in january. My menstrual cycle was irregular from the past 2 years. I have black spots on my neckline, back and in front. From last 2 weeks I have itching on the scalp of my head. When I checked I found that there are so many pimples kind of something with white face. I am taking metformin 500 from last one month. Please suggest me any medical treatment for the same.

Hi lybrate-user. You might be suffering from scalp follicultis. Avoid oil massage. Take head bath frequently. U can apply fusiscalp lotion for the pimples on scalp two times per day for 10 days. Use sebowash shampoo and kertoyl pso shampoo alternatively. Stop sebowash after 3 weeks. Continue kertoyl pso shampoo maintenance. Take head bath alternate days atleast. If the scalp follicultis is severe might require systemic medications. And for pcos, if you are having face acne, hormonal therapy to be started. You can consult online privately if needed further treatment. Take care.
