Query received after 3 months. Hetrazan or banocide or diethyl carbamazine is used in a dose of 6 mg /kg in divided doses are ascending dose, as directed by treating physicain for 2-3 weeks. Usually there is very high eosinophyll count or marked increase of absolute eosiniphil count above 500. Sometimes worm medicine also helps when parasitic infection is suspected. Experienced paediatrician or pulmonologist should be consulted for proper clinical examination, probable cause, allergy care etc.
