Hello. Please I have had nasal congestion for months now and i've taken benadryl for 3 days and used some sprays. It's still there. A membrane gets swollen from the side of the nose almost touching the septum.

Hello Ms. lybrate-user, from your symptoms it sounds like you have allergic issues. Benadryl per se is a potent anti-histaminic but it has a drawback of sedation. Also, the membrane that you think might be swollen is actually a bone in your nose. Swelling of that bone is indicative of allergies. You can consult in private chat for further queries.

Hi lybrate-user, it looks like you are having an allergic issue which causes the swelling of turbinates causing the nasal stuffiness. You need to get a nasal endoscopy done to know if you have an associated nasal polyp also.
