Hello doctor, what are the causes for vertigo. I am doing night shifts every day. My age is 26 doctor prescribed me vertin 16 mg although I took it feeling of vomit and dizzy ness. Can vertigo go away.

Dear lybrate-user, 90% of causes of vertigo come under the following 3 diseases bppv, meniere's disease and vestibular neuronitis. In your case you have only mentioned vertigo and not any other ear symptom or vertigo in a particular position nor have you mentioned any viral illness prior to vertigo. Please explain your disease in further detail. And yes vertigo of vestibular neuronitis and bppv can go away.
