My father who is a bp patient observe itching while started using tetan tablet. Does it have side effect like itching.

Hi. Telmisartan tablet can cause itching. Any tablet can cause itching if person develops sensitivity to that. So need to stop tetan tablet unless the reaction is worse. If only itching without rash, please continue. Use good moisturizer cream and soap twice daily. Can take tab bilastine 20 mg 1 hour before food if itching s not subsiding. And also you can apply venusia soft + lotion whenever itching is there eventually he will get used to tablet.
