Respected mam, piles is as unusual in this age group untill diagnosed by surgeon. So pls not use any remidies (drugs or ointment) in this age gruop. If not paining and no bleeding then only high fiber diet and plenty of liquied oraly. Regards.

Hi, thanks for your query. Yes you may use ano metrogyl for local application around anal region for your son. As per the history since your child doesn't have any pain, anal fissure is unlikely. Hence ano metrogyl is actually not indicated. Instead it would be more helpful if you could give him sitz bath and a fibre rich diet along with plenty of oral fluids for time being and if pain occurs you may apply ano metrogyl twice daily.
