Hello sir/ma'am my last lmp was march 2nd and upt test is negative I am diagnosed with pcos I am advised to take regestrone tablet for withdrawal bleeding, and then clomifene citrate 50 mg from 3rd day to help in ovulation and susten 400 mg from 15th day. As we are ttc from past 4 months but no luck so I was advised with this medication which will help in conceiving I would like to know what is the success rate of this medication kindly guide me.

Yes you can take. Ideally after you tale clomiphene, you should have tvs follicular study to see if your eggs are growing properly or not. But unfortunately due to lock down, we are unable to do it. But if you did tvs folliclar study before and it showed good response, you can take it.

If you have taken it for 4 cycles then it is wiser to look for other factors like follicular study to confirm if you are actually ovulating with clomiphene, semen analysis, tubal patency. With this tablet, considering everything is normal, chances of pregnancy are 5-7% per cycle. Don't get disheartened, consult a fertility specialist.
