I'm 20 years old. I'm having the problem of conscious and seizure since I was 4 years old. During that time doctors consulted me tegrital tablet. Later on the problem was solved after continuous dosage for 5 yrs. But since last 4 years the problem again started. The neurologist consulted me oxetol 300 mg twice a day. But after 1 yr, he increased the dose to 450 mg twice a day. But still the problem is not solved. Still I get seizures and unconscious mainly 1or 3 times in a month. The report of eeg, mri, ct scan show normal reports. So help me. What should I do to overcome this serious problem.

Reports need to be assessed and you need to mention your weight and type of seizure. Only then can your medicine be adjusted.

Its very problematic for any indivizual to have repeated seizures. These can hamper your quality of life. So you need to regularise your anti-epileptic medication. Proper seizure control depends on the type of the medication and type of seizure you had. And proper dose according to your body weight. Have you visited your neurologist alone or you been accompanied by any of your family members? Because as a doctor we sometimes need to heard the story from family members of patients to determine the seizure type. Hope this will help you. Stay safe.
