I am a 62 year old man. I am suffering from a cut in my tongue since last june. It irritates a lot and has burning sensation. I went to the doctor and they prescribed me a triamcinolone acetonide buccal paste and multivitamins. There is no much relief. Sometimes it gets better in terms of pain but it is all the same again after sometime. What is it and what is the cause? What do I do to cure it? Kindly help.
