I was diagnosed with iga nephropathy and I am being treated with cyclophosphamide. Is this a good medicine to treat the kidney? And what effects does marijuana has on a person with stage 3 kidney function? Thank you!

Cyclophosphamde and acei lisinopril are effective drugs for progressive iga nephropathy. There are possible side effects of every medicines but these are necessary drugs to save your kidneys. Avoid smoking and other forms of tobacco or marijuana use to keep your kidneys safe. Also avoid other over the counter drugs, alternative medicines and pain killers etc without asking your doctor.
