Since you have started treatment with Levothyroxine (dosage not mentioned), have you checked TSH (usually done after 6 weeks of treatment) to see if the current dosage is adequate or needs any change. TSH should be around 3 to 4 mU/L. As regards the cough you may continue using Montelukast and cough syrups. thanks.

The cough doesn't probably have any plausible relation with thyroid hormone supplementation. You should consult a chest physician for a pulmonary function test & exclude obstructive airways. The thyroid dose has to be titrated every 6 weeks initially.
