My wife left nose inner side one small polyps failed, which leads to cough on left side. Sometimes nose gets dried for which nasal spray is being used based on our general doctor. Earlier okacet tablet's given which relieved the problem. Since it's lockdown we are unable to visit ent specialist. We are residing in parsik nagar kalwa. Kindly suggest.

Allergy is the cause for the nasal polyps. The cough that you are having is on account of the post nasal drip. An antiallergic tablet along with a steroid nasal spray should help if the polyp is small. If it is a large or multiple polyps then a surgery will help.

Hello lybrate-user, hope you are safe. A unilateral nasal polyp would require a nasal endoscopy examination to know its current status and further management. The cough could be due to the post nasal drip or allergic phenomenon going in the sinonasal pathways. Either of which needs to be treated with a proper consultation on the phone.
