I am aisha from uganda, I have daughter who is five years old, she usually convulses only at night every last day of the month. She has never urinated during the attack and it has never come to her during day .she is being treated by valparin chrono 300 .yet she still gets attacks. I have doubts that my child has epilepsy.

Dear Lybrate user, as valparin can not control the convulsion, your daughter needs reevaluation. Particularly regarding the type of epilepsy. Sometimes we need to change the medication or we can also add another one to control the seizure, depending on the seizure type. Feel free to consult with me with all your reports. Stay safe.
