My cycle is 35 days, I had I pill on 8th day of my cycle then I got my light periods on 15th day which lasted for 3 days. Should I consider that 3 days as a period or it was spotting? Because I want to keep eye on my ovulation days (to avoid sex). Should I consider that 3 days to be my periods and count ovulation accordingly or should I not consider those 3 days?

After taking the high hormonal emergency pill like I pill one gets withdrawal bleeding 5 to 10 days later, and then a new cycle starts. I want to keep eye on my ovulation days (to avoid sex)- it is called the safe period of family planning, but it is unsafe meaning high failure rate.

Hello lybrate-user, if the flow is proper on that 3 days then consider it as periods.
