Myself divya, my lmp was april 26th I am diagnosed with pcos, as we are planning for a baby, doctor advised me to take clomifene citrate 50 mg from day 3 to day 7, then susten 400 mg from day 20 for 15 days this is my first cycle of clomifene and susten tabs, what is the chances of me conceiving this cycle, is this tablet good for pcos condition if in case I haven't conceived this cycle is it good to take another cycle? And also will my menses happen properly after finishing susten for 15 days if in case I haven't conceived. Please guide me doctor.

There are chances of conception, you can take tab clomiphene for 3-6 cycles. Maximum 6 cycles. If conception does not occur even after 3 cycles then you need to be further investigated and treatment protocol need to be changed. If you conceive in this cycle you will not get your periods on stopping susten ,if conception does not occur you'll get your periods within 3-5 days of stopping susten.

Yes there are chances of conception. If after stopping susten you get pds then next cycle you can rpt the clomifen for 3 more cycles. It is better to go for follicular study from day 10 or day 11 to know exact date of ovulation and endometrial thickness.

You can go for induction of ovulation with clomifene for 2 0r 3 cycles. Tab letrose is more effective. Diamet can be combined with it, 6 cycles you can try. If ovulation occurs with this medication, periods will also become normal.
