Main thing to prevent infection is to maintain hygiene .
- use washed and cotton panties, cotton pads during ur periods. 
-Avoid using wheat creams or razors for hair removal as few ppl are sensitive to them and cause irritation and itching will start. So see which one suits you and then use it. If ur using any of them please stop.
- avoid going to public washrooms or else clean the  toilet seat with a tissue or sanitizer before using. Infections are commonly spread from there.
