My age is 30, married. Frequent urination since last 20 days .taking nitrofurantoin 100 mg and cefixime 500 mg for first 7 days .after that the burning sensation goes away but after 3 days again back .now I suffering from burning sensation, frequent urination. At night it breaks my sleep and I wake up 3 times in my night sleep for urination. Doctor prescribed me urine r/m and urine culture. And sugar test and urea creatinine. My urine r/m is ok except albumin+30 mg/dl and chyle - sperms .urine culture is negative .urea 25.4 and creatinine 1.1,fasting sugar 106 and after food sugar 127 .then what is the reason for my problem. I am hopeless. No urologist near by me .i am fully upset with my night urination and frequent urination. My bp is 130/80. please reply. I have visit another doctor who prescribed me uritrid and norflox 400 .i don't think these are good medicine.

Symptoms are suggestive of uti. It seems that you have done urine test during the course of antibiotics or sufficient gap was not given before giving urine samples. Repeat urine r/m and c/s after 3 days of stpping antibiotics. Take plenty of liquids and urine alkalizer.

However, you will have to continue using specific antibiotics to control urinary tract infection. There are many antibiotics that can be used. You may contact your doctor and ask for some prescriptions. Plus plenty of fluids should be taken to reduce the acidity of the urine.
