Can a breastfeeding mother take orlistat 120 mg? I have taken orlistat before when unmarried and it worked for me? Is there any other supplement for orlistat?

Hi lybrate-user. We usually do not advise weight loss drugs to the patients. Natural methods of weight reduction is better like diet control and exercises. And oil massages after delivery. It is better to avoid the medicine till you give breast feeding.

Don't use orlistat as you are breast feeding, any other drug is also not recommended for you as your baby gets 1% of it through breast milk. What you should do is: avoid sweets and oily food. Reduce dinner quantity to half. Do morning walking dailyfor an hour. You will lose weight and become an attractive lady. Good luck.
