I was sexually active on march 7. 16 days later I had my periods which were lighter than usual, but lasted for 7 days and were on time. After that I missed my period in april so I got suspicious and tested on april 28, it came out negative. But even in may I did not get my period so I tested again and it was still negative. However the tests were taken late almost after 7 weeks so could it be a false negative? I consulted a gynaec and she gave me primolut n, 3 times for 3 days. After 3 days I had very light bleeding which was almost like spotting after the first day. There was brown discharge as well. I had cramps and backache only on the first day. And the bleeding stopped by the 4th day. Is there a chance I could be pregnant? What do I do ahead, I do not want a pregnancy.

Hello, to be conclusive, you may get a serum beta hcg test done. If hcg levels are less than 5miu then you are surely not pregnant.
