I took gabamax gold twice a day. When I took in morning today, I am feeling drowsy, weak and tired. Doctor prescribed me gabamax for leg pain but that is still there. Is it a side effect or not?

Gabamax gold is a combination of medications one of which is pregabalin. It is responsible for drowsiness. It's also given to reduce pain. Hence we advise to take it in the evening or night because of its drowsy effects. You can take gabamax gold once only at night. If your leg pain hasn't subsided there there may be other reasons. 1. Vit d deficiency can cause body pains, joints pains 2. There may be local inflammation in the leg. Try taking painkillers also. Take paracetamol twice a day for 2 days. 3. Potassium deficiency can also cause cramps in muscles and pain. Eat lots of fruits and drink juices. If still no relief then consult a doctor nearby.
