I am having pcos complaint. For heavy bleeding doctor asked me to take pause--mf thrice daily. My bleeding stopped by 6th day. And again started on the 10th day after my period completion. So doctor prescribed me femilon twice daily one one week and 1 tab a day from 8th day. Is it ok to take femilon twice daily?

Yes some doctors may prescribe femilon twice a day for 7 days for controlling bleeding then once daily for 14 days ok

Hi, Lybrate user, your case looks like pcod. So ultrasonography be done to confirm this. With pause mf bleeding us controlled temporarily. Then take femilon tab once a day for 21 days and stop for seven days. Take it at least for six cycles and get an ultrasonography done to check status of uterus tubes and ovaries.
