It should not be taken during early pregnancy. It belongs to category x and can produce fetal anomalies. Better to abort the pregnancy.

Hi lybrate-user. It is a category x drug which is not safe during pregnancy. But I cannot confirm that it effects every foetus. U can continue and get all the tests done till 20 weeks if anything is abnormal you can get aborted before that. Nt scan and double marker screening between 11 -13 weeks, nipt, fetal echo, tiffa. All these should be done by 18 weeks and then we can decide if can continue or not. See a good fetal medicine gynaecologist. Only 10 days tablet use we cannot assure you if it's bad or will effect. So my suggestion is to continue and get all these done to rule out. But finally it's your call. All the best.
