I'm taking ferrous ascorbate and folic acid tablet, biotin and vitamin tablets daily. Now i'm having black stool, is that harmful, do I need to consult a doctor for sure.

Black stools may be because of taking ferrous ascorbate and folic acid tablet. Stop the tablet for some time and check.

Not clear why are you taking these medications. Avoid self medication. Black stools are normally due to iron containing medicines. Stop tablets which contain ferrous compound. Black stools should stop. If not you have to see a physicain for diagnosis.
