First day of pd counted as day 1 so there are chances of preg if you do unprotected sex ie without condoms from day 10 to day 18 for more on toward safe side from day 9 to. 19 cycles should be regular in this way if your wife's cycle is of 28 days then from 1- 9 and 20 to 28 days.
