Good day my apologies for the disturbance but I do not know exactly what is going on and it is very painful and causing a great deal of concern. I am a 20 year old female on nordette birth control prescribed for regulating periods and alleviating menstrual pain. During sexual intercourse with my boyfriend I experienced pain and sudden tightening in the vagina, once we had stopped the pain still persisted and I decided to view what was causing it using a mirror. I sat up on the bed, slightly tilted and placed a mirror in front of me, and upon moving my labia minora slightly I was able to view my cervix. It is not outside of the vaginal canal itself but rather very close to the opening and visible. It is important to note I am one day away from menstruation and I know this lowers the cervix but i'm unsure if it's meant to be this low. The pain is still persisting and I cannot sit up, laying down alleviates it but still feels as if something is inside me that should not be there. Any and all assistance is appreciated as I cannot visit any kind of health professional personally due to covid restrictions. Thank you.
