Hii mam/sir myself vasudha I want to know that I have inserted copper t multiload from govt hospital because of not affordable condition but 3 times it expelled by own they rudely behave with me and said you remove it by own they give me dose of dmpa injection 3 month tell me please by use of dmpa is there any cause of infertility because in 1 year I have to take 4 times please tell me is there any harm to my uterus infertility.

Dear Lybrate user, both multiload and dmpa do not affect fertility in the long run. However, return of fertility is immediate after removal of multiload unlike dmpa where return of fertility can take a couple of months.

You can use dmpa but you l have in between spotting and no periods infertility doesn't happen with it. But long term use is not recommended you can take oral contraceptive pills from the govt hospital. They are free of cost or little charge. That is a safer option.
