I hv been having gastric issues since january. Got usg done in dec, report normal, then agn endoscopy done in march 2020, agn evythng normal. I was having ganaton total, the moment I stopped it, gastric issue resurfaced. I have undergone cbc and lft tests recently, no abnormalities reported. Can I still have gallstones? I hv done ultrasound in dec 2019 n nothing was there. Also can I continue ganaton total and for how long?

Hi if your isg did not show gallery stones then it's unlikely. You are on ganton total ,good drug but long term of acid lowering drugs not recommended due to potential to cause vitamin b12 deficiency. We have to see the curable and modifiable factors to actually cure disease and not to suppress by acid lowering drugs. Pl share your complete report's.
