In lft, my sgot is 91, sgpt is 139 & alkaline phosphatase is 486, having severe itching on whole body. My doctor has prescribed me to take udiliv 300 mg (2 tablets) in morning & (2 tablets) in evening along with allegra 120 mg. Please suggest me after having these medicines, is it necessary to terminate pregnancy in 37 weeks or we can wait?

Hello, Lybrate user. Repeat your lft after a week of taking udiliv. If it continues to be elevated, better to terminate since you have reached 37 weeks, baby is mature enough. Continuing pregnancy with altered/worsening lft is dangerous.

Yes, it’s advised to terminate pregnancy at 37 weeks in this condition. Otherwise there is a risk of baby dying in the womb.
